This site is a collaboration between two of my projects: The Firm List and The Tribe of Woolgatherers.
I started The Tribe of Woolgatherers in 1993 while in college. It started simply as a humor emailing list that
I sent to my friends. It grew in both size as well as scope. There are several Tribe of Woolgatherers sites, with
topic-specific humor, there are in-the-flesh events, and more.
I started The Firm List in May of 1998 as a directory of web design firms from around the world. It has grown
to encompass thousands of firms from around the world. New features are added all the time.
Work, the Wool & the Web is one of these new features. It's a collection of humor about working and the web. This
is a constantly growing collection, so please return to see more Wool.
